It is our great pleasure to inform you about the course How to make a systematic literature review: the basics of methodology and practical steps. The course will be held from 26 to 27 June 2020 at the University of Split, School of Medicine.

Cochrane Bosnia and Herzegovina symposium called «Cochrane for everyone» held at Medical School in Mostar Cochrane Bosnia and Herzegovina second scientific symposium took place on Friday January 17th in front of the full auditorium of the University of Mostar School of Medicine.Judging by its name «Cochrane for everyone», the symposium reached its expectations by attracting huge interest from the media, medical students and clinicians.

Ana Utrobičić gave a presentation and workshop at this year's MICC, which was held on June 4th at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine. 

Members of Cochrane Bosnia and Herzegovina, asst. prof. Filipa Markotić, asst. prof. Svjetlana Grgić, and asst. prof. Kaja Mandić, this year were active participants in the 11th Croatian Cochrane Symposium, organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and dedicated to systematic reviews in the social sciences. Participants had the opportunity to hear about Cochrane and Campbell's work in promoting positive social change through the production and use of a synthesis of existing evidence.

Dr. Ted Hewitt, Head of the Canadian Commission for Coordination of Research, visited Croatia and was welcomed by members of Cochrane Croatia - Tina Poklepović Peričić, Ph.D., Karmela Krleža-Jerić, Ph.D.  and professor Dario Sambunjak.

"From systematic reviews to Cochrane clinical abstracts in physical and rehabilitation medicine" was the name of the symposium that was organized by the Croatian Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of the HLZ and the Cochrane Rehabilitation Group.The topics of the symposium covered several constituent elements: the structure of systematic reviews, the formulation of clinical questions, the system of evaluating the quality of evidence, and the conduct and evaluation of systematic clinical reviews.

This summer Cochrane Croatia took part in the Cochrane International Mobility Programme and hosted a brilliant, smart and hardworking young colleague, Sarah Tanveer, one of the Cochrane’s 30 under 30 (https://www.cochrane.org/news/30-under-30-sarah-tanveer).This was an encouraging experience for us all, and spending time with Sarah, exchanging experiences, teaching and working with her was a true refreshment to our Centre.

The workshop “Assessing Risk of Bias in Randomised trials: RoB2” was held on Thursday, June 27th, 2019 at the University of Split School of Medicine.
