"From systematic reviews to Cochrane clinical abstracts in physical and rehabilitation medicine" was the name of the symposium that was organized by the Croatian Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of the HLZ and the Cochrane Rehabilitation Group.
The topics of the symposium covered several constituent elements: the structure of systematic reviews, the formulation of clinical questions, the system of evaluating the quality of evidence, and the conduct and evaluation of systematic clinical reviews.
In the continuation of the symposium there was also a workshop dedicated to writing clinical abstracts and so-called "Blogshots" led by dr. Tina Poklepović and prof. Livia Puljak from Cochrane Croatia, who also gave several lectures on related topics.
The symposium was held with the aim of getting the younger generation of colleagues in the field of physical and rehabilitation medicine to be actively involved in the work of the Cochrane scientific community, which was achieved. In addition to a large number of physiatrists from the Republic of Croatia, colleagues from Slovenia expressed their interest in Cochrane, which was an excellent opportunity to get to know and discuss the possibilities of cooperation.
