From 13 to 17 September, assistant professor Martina Mavrinac, psychologist and head of the Department of Medical Informatics at the University of Rijeka School of Medicine, visited Cochrane Croatia.
The purpose of the visit was to meet Martina with members and activities of the Croatian Cochrane Center and instruct her in the work and organization of Cochrane, as the future head of the branch of Cochrane Croatia at the University of Rijeka School of Medicine.
During her stay, Martina had the opportunity to translate and record Cochrane's podcasts and thus contribute to the work of Cochrane Croatia. She met most of the members of the Cochrane Croatia in Split and held meetings with prof. Ana Marušić, with the director of the University Library Ana Utrobičić and participated in a meeting with members of Cochrane where she had the opportunity to get acquainted with their projects and the organization of the center.
During her stay, she had the opportunity to meet the director of the Polish Cochrane, Malgorzata Bala, with whom she exchanged various experiences of Cochrane Poland.
We especially instructed her in the way of work and the main goals and missions of Cochrane Croatia.
We believe that Martina returned to Rijeka full of impressions - let's hope for the positive ones! We look forward to meeting again and look forward to future collaborations.
