In January 2021, a cooperation agreement was signed between Cochrane Croatia and the Split branch of the Croatian Medical Students' International Committee (CroMSIC), which is also part of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA). Thus, the long-term informal cooperation between the students of the University of Split School of Medicine and Cochrane Croatia (whose members are also many former students of our school) got its official stamp. Representatives of CroMSIC Ivan Čović and Luka Milovac, together with the co-directors of Cochrane Croatia Tina Poklepović Peričić and Irena Zakarija-Grković, signed a four-year cooperation agreement, with the approval of the dean, prof. Ante Tonkić. Full of plans, they hope for a fruitful future collaboration to further raise awareness of Cochrane’s evidence in medicine among the student population. Student members of CroMSIC will continue the already started cooperation of translating Cochrane's abstracts for the public. The cooperation is also an opportunity for numerous future initiatives, lectures and actions that will be implemented in the next four years, and we hope that this is the official beginning of a beautiful and long friendship between students and Cochrane Croatia!
