Cochrane Croatia, in cooperation with the Dental School in Zagreb and thanks to the genearous support from the City of Zagreb, organised the second Evidence Based Dental Medicine training event in Zagreb. It was our honour and great pleasure that prof. Gerd Antes and prof. Malgorazata Bala joined us and, together with members of oCochrane Croatia, presented valuable topics, from understanding good, reliable evidence and quality of systematic reveiws, along the methodological steps in Cochrane systematic review process to sharing experiences in developing and adapting clinical guidelines and the value of the GRADE approach.

Besides the scientific benefit of the event, in terms of better understanding the available body of evidence and exchanging knowledge and experiences with our friends from Cochrane Poland and Germany, this event also served as an encouragement to examine possible strategic interventions that might improve effectiveness of the delivery of health care, as well as to discuss structural organizational issues and priorities in research that are of special interest in Dental Medicine.
