After seven years at the helm of Cochrane Croatia, assistant professor Tina Poklepović Peričić resigned from her position of co-director, thus opening the door to new ideas and perspectives that will lead this Cochrane entity in the future.
Tina Poklepović Peričić has been actively participating in the work of Cochrane Croatia since 2009, including the production and dissemination of evidence, training, fundraising, and organization of Cochrane events. In 2015, Tina took over the position of co-director of Cochrane Croatia, where she succeeded her mentor and a kind of role model, Dario Sambunjak, and continued his efforts of robust Cochrane engagement in Croatia. Tina looks forward to continuing the collaboration established within Cochrane.
Upon leaving the position of co-director, Tina shared the following message: “I am extremely grateful for the role of co-director that was entrusted to me seven years ago. This leadership position enabled me to meet, collaborate with, and connect colleagues from Cochrane Croatia with inspiring, dedicated scientists and true experts from around the world, who, at the same time, are kind and open-minded people. These connections enriched me as a person and yielded life-long friendships. I am happy to continue cooperating on reserach, mutual projects and activities, and look forward to the new chapter that is coming. I am thankful to all who have supported me in my work. "
