Cochrane Croatia accompanied its longtime member Ana Utrobičić to the position of the new director of the University Library in Split. In addition to socializing in accordance with epidemiological measures, the members of Cochrane Croatia wished Ana Utrobičić all the best in her further work in her new role.

Ana Utrobičić has been an information expert at Cochrane Croatia since the very beginning of its activities. Cochrane Croatia as an organization that deals with evidence, and finds the best evidence in the literature, was inconceivable without a competent librarian and information expert, and we could not get or imagine a better person than Ana in our ranks.

We did not say goodbye to Ana because it is impossible to leave Cochrane Croatia, we all concluded that a long time ago. In all their new roles, members of Cochrane Croatia are expected to continue to build the Cochrane story we have been telling since 2008 in Croatia and the region, so we expect a lot from Ana in her new role. We still need to build a lot of awareness among librarians about the hierarchy of evidence in medicine and the importance of supporting information professionals in making systematic literature searches.

Ana was elected director of the University Library in Split for a four-year term, which begins on February 11, 2021. We know she won’t forget us there because we won’t let her forget us. Ana, good luck with your new job, we love you and - let's move on with the evidence.
