We are pleased to present an article on evidence-based medicine and family medicine physicians by Danijel Nejašmić, Davorka Vrdoljak and Ana Marušić.
The article Awareness, attitudes, barriers, and knowledge about evidence-based medicine among family physicians in Croatia showed that family physicians in Croatia have a very positive attitude towards the use of evidence-based medicine. They agreed that evidence-based medicine improves patient care and estimated that more than two-thirds of their practice is based on it. Compared to the results of the first assessment of physicians in 2010, there has been some increase in the level of awareness of evidence-based medicine.
