Research on „Awareness, knowledge, use, and attitudes toward evidence based medicine in a developing country: survey of physicians in a canton in Bosnia and Herzegovina“ was published in the December 2016 issue of Croatian Medical Journal, available at: http://www.cmj.hr/2015/56/6/26718762.htm. Similar research was done in Croatia: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2859421/, with similiar results. Although the attitudes toward EBM are positive, there is a low awareness of EBM among physicians in ZDC, and educational activities are warranted to raise awareness. Unusual bimodal physicians' age distribution, undescribed in other settings, is a result of war, and warrants two different approaches. We thank Cochrane Croatia for their wholehearted help in this research, especially professor Livia Puljak and professor Ana Marušić.
