10. Croatian Cochrane Symposium (2018-06-29)

As a part of our educational program in 2018., Cochrane Croatia is organizing a 10th Croatian Cochrane Symposium that will be held at the University of Split, School of Medicine, on June 29, 2018. The theme is "Building capacity for Cochrane systematic review production and dissemination".

We are proud to announce our international speakers, Prof Taryn Young, Director of the Centre for Evidence-based Health Care and Head of the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Stellenbosch University, Tamara Lotfi, Global Evidence Synthesis Initiative Secretariat Coordinator at the American University of Beirut and Selena Ryan-Vig from Students for Best Evidence network. They will be joined by Croatian experts and members of Cochrane Croatia Center.

The aim of this year's Croatian Cochrane Symposium is to provide a better understanding of systematic review methodology, as well as to empower participants in the use and dissemination of Cochrane evidence.

Participants will be introduced to the process of creating evidence maps, self-evaluation of training capacity and the role of students in Evidence-based Health Care.

Strategy for Cochrane systematic review production in Croatia will be discussed in the roundtable.
